  • Soup Happens! -- Hot Soup's delectable second album fulfills the promise of exquisite vocal harmonies, uncanny instrumentation, and savory song selections. Soup Happens! ranked number 23 out of all CDs played on folk radio in 2000. "Three very imaginative ladies who know how to have fun . . . and harmonies as tight as the Pyramid Stones." (George Francis Maida, WCVE, Richmond, Virginia) Reviews

  • Hot Soup! -- Features original songs by members of Hot Soup, as well as songs collected from other writers, old and new. "Their lighthearted approach and warm, soaring harmony vocals recall previous ensembles like the Roaches and the Andrews Sisters." (Dirty Linen) Reviews

  • On Stage -- Hot Soup recorded their July 1, 2001 concert "On Stage" at the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage. This is a six-song excerpt (with intros) from that concert.

  • eBay-o -- Do you play on eBay? Download this great Hot Soup parody of "The Banana Boat Song." It's free!

Sue Trainor is famous (infamous?) for her parodies. In this (mostly) live recording, Sue is joined on lead and harmony vocals by fellow Soupers Christina Muir and Jennifer Camp, and by Eric Camp on bass and Jim Brink on percussion. Jim also plays the roles of the eBay auction bidders, competing via their computer keyboards for a trip to Club Havana. That and a conga track are overdubbed. The performance was recorded and mastered by Flawn Williams, Technical Director of NPR's "Performance Today."
You can download eBay-o here in MP3 format. The complete song is available in both CD quality and FM quality. A 30-second FM-quality clip is also available. Download times (which are approximate) are given for 56Kbps modems.
